Wooden box opening work
These two wooden boxes give more opening/closing work. The first one our Aunt and Uncle brought from Belize last week! I love the knob on the top and the beautiful wood. The second was built by Grandbob for Daddy a long time ago. The lid is actually fastened on a peg and it slides back and forth, so it exposes Q to a different type of opening and closing.
I am constantly examining objects in my house and thinking about what type of work they would be good for. Sometimes I will add them to a list, sometimes I put them in the learning room cabinet so I don't forget about them, and sometimes I make a mental note.
