We tried watercolor crayons this weekend. The directions say to draw with the crayons and then go over the crayon marks with a wet paintbrush, which blends together the crayon lines like watercolor paint. We tried this, but it was difficult for Q and she wasn't really into it. Plan B was to just dip the crayons in water and use them. They go on like paint and are so beautiful! She of course loved dipping them in the water! I highly recommend them for little ones if you use them this way! They are so much fun and make bold, blendy pictures!
