More peg work
Since Q had mastered sliding the spools onto the pegboard, I changed it up a bit! These are some plastic washers I had to go with some math material from when I taught first grade. They worked perfectly with the little pegboard. You could make one yourself using your pegboard and large washers (painted or plain). This requires the pincer grasp, again. We talk about the different colors, practice working from left to right (prereading skill), count the washers, and practice one-to-one correspondance as we use this work. It's still a little difficult for Q to get the flat washers on to the pegs, so I am providing a little bit of help. She's close to getting it herself, though!!
