This is a fine-motor activity--the materials involve a pipe clearner (with a know twisted at one end to keep the beads from sliding off) and a bucket of large wooden beads.
Q can thread the beads onto the pipecleaner and then we can twist the ends together to make a bracelet.
The stiff pipecleaner works well for early threading practice.
We can also count the beads as we put them on/take them off the pipecleaner.
